They feature a sinking front section while the rear section floats. The main advantage of a floating rear section is the ideal control over your swing due to improved visibility and mending properties. Furthermore, the floating rear section lifts off the water with ease, forms tight d-loops and casts almost like a full floater. The short compact taper of the Hybrid Zhooter has enough power to turn over large flies and enables you to put out a long cast effortlessly with good control.
