This makes you not only extremely flexible in terms of the size of the waters, but also in terms of technique. Because with the 10ft. length, conventional WF lines for dry fly fishing can be cast excellently, while the rod in its 11ft. configuration allows for longer, natural drifts with your nymph at greater distances. The insert element is cleverly integrated into the handle and can be easily "telescoped out".
