The short, powerful taper of the Rio Elite Warmwater Predator Fly Line loads your cast right from the first meters, even with wind-resistant flies or weighted flies. The compact head quickly transitions into the smooth running line, which, thanks to the ultra-smooth SlickCast coating, possesses incredible shooting capabilities. In practice, this allows for exceptionally long casts with few false casts or in limited backspace. This quality is invaluable in tight areas, the jungle, or narrow channels from a boat. If you have enough casting space, the short handling section allows you to time the perfect release point, achieving maximum casting distances. The line profile is slightly more balanced than other Rio predator lines.
