Monic Saltwater Master Bonefish Fly Line Floating

The Saltwater Master Bonefish by Monic is a line designed for warm saltwater fishing, featuring a 14m long head specifically tailored for targeting bonefish. The line's construction is designed to minimize false casts when the fish are within casting range. The first 19 ft of the line have the largest diameter and thus the most weight, loading the rod quickly in combination with the smooth coating, allowing for swift delivery to the fish and ideally multiple attempts before they move on. The 10 ft long rear taper of the line provides maximum control and enables precise presentation due to the line's stability in the air.

The coating of the Saltwater Master Fly Line is made of a very smooth and texture-free coating, maximizing casting distance. Additionally, the low friction coating ensures best shooting through the rod guides, combined with the aggressive head requiring minimal false casts to load the rod for a new shot. This is super crucial in saltwater fishing for bonefish, permit, and tarpon, as these fish often do not linger within casting range. Once the fish is spotted, it's essential to quickly present the fly, which is easily accomplished with the Saltwater Master Bonefish Line.

Monic STS Coating:

The Saltwater Master utilizes Monic's advanced STS coating system. With its innovative slickness formula evenly incorporated into the coating, the slickness property never wears off, ensuring excellent line shooting ability is maintained. STS also reduces salt buildup and extends maximum performance between cleanings.

The core of the line consists of a low-stretch braided core, ensuring maximum strike detection and hook set efficiency. The core transmits even the most delicate, sensitive takes directly to the fingertips, ensuring no fish moves on unnoticed. Thanks to the low stretch braid, the typical strip strike is also highly effective!

In short: The Saltwater Master Bonefish Fly Line is a saltwater line for warm water fishing that, with its aggressive head, effortlessly shoots out the line. Few false casts propel the line to extreme distances, accurately reaching the fish. A strong, low-stretch saltwater core ensures optimal strike detection and a powerful strip strike. You couldn't ask for more advantages in a fly line!

So, if you're using a rod with a medium to fast action, you can go up one line class. You can find the actual line weight of the head in the table below.
