The short multi-density shooting heads, with a length of approximately 4.6 m, combine different sink rates in a belly. This not only gets your fly to the desired depth, but also results in a smooth transition from the floating part of the line to the leader. This gives you immediate contact with your fly and allows you to detect even subtle takes. Another advantage of this multiple density setup is the ability to present your fly particularly slowly and fish with a consistent swing. Often the key to success in high water! Each Mini GameChanger shooting head is equipped with Rio's ConnectCore - a special core that stretches very little. This further improves the contact with the fly and fish, and provides immediate feedback when casting. Combined with a suitable running line and a polyleader matched to the sink rate, you are perfectly prepared to fish for trout, sea trout, or salmon, especially in small to medium-sized rivers.

F/H/I (Float/Hover/Intermediate): This shooting head is triple density and is suitable for fishing in shallower waters or for summer fishing when fish are taking flies just below the surface. This shooting head is combined with an intermediate or sink 3 tip. This allows your fly to swing at a depth between 60 cm and 120 cm. However, due to the compact taper, much heavier tips and T-tips can also be cast, as well as bushy patterns.
