The tough 840-denier nylon canvas fabric is coated with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) so water simply cannot penetrate. The advantages of using a nylon fabric with this coating over polyester or canvas are its light weight, flexibility and abrasion resistance. The highly flexible TPU coating is resistant to ultraviolet light and chemicals and ensures a long life without breaking down under heavy use. Perfect then, for the tough and demanding use of fly fishing! The breathable back panel is padded with high-density EVA foam for comfort, whatever the contents. The comfortable, adjustable shoulder strap of the Sling Bag has also been fitted with a D-ring to which a radio, pliers or other accessories can be easily attached. The small auxiliary strap can also be adjusted to optimally balance the weight. The sling bag is closed with an extremely durable T-Zip. Together with the ingenious 840-D nylon, this sling bag is 100% waterproof, even underwater!

Filson - Rugged quality for over 125 years. Born in 1850, C. C. Filson inherited the pioneering spirit and love of nature from his father. After establishing a settlement in Nebraska and moving across the country as a railway conductor, he moved to the small town of Seattle, Washington in the 1890s. There he started his own company and became the first go-to place for hundreds of gold diggers heading north during the gold rush of the late 19th century.
