Guideline Alta NGx Sonic Zip Waders

The Alta NGx Sonic Zip from Guideline is the next generation of the very popular Alta waders. The Alta series has built a great reputation in recent years as reliable, comfortable and high-performance waders - a reputation in whose footsteps the Alta NGx confidently follows.

Using the well-known high-frequency Ultra Sonic technology, the main elements are no longer sewn and then glued, but directly welded together. This process cleverly bypasses a typical weak point of waders, the seams. During welding, two different nylon fabrics were combined: For the heavily used areas, a very robust and durable 4-layer Taslan material was used. On less heavily used and exposed areas the same material was used, but due to the weaving process it is significantly lighter. This makes the waders very robust, but still offers a high degree of freedom of movement. Unrestricted by this robust construction method, however, is the breathability, which is exceedingly impressive with 7000gr/sqm/24 hrs. and a water column of 20,000 mm.

The Guideline NGx Sonic Zip's cut makes it very comfortable to wear, even on long days of fishing. The reliable and 100% waterproof zipper helps immensely when putting on and taking off the waders and is a true relief for the occasional urination. The suspenders are particularly comfortable to wear due to the neoprene and the Elevator Braces offer the possibility to convert the pants to hip waders in no time.

The Gravel Guards made of high-quality neoprene sit securely without slipping off the shoe and are secured by a hook. Additional attention was paid to the perfect fit of the booties, because due to the comfort plus socks they sit without pressure points or annoying folds in the shoe.

Also, the rest of the waders is impressive: Two large chest pockets with a water-repellent zipper on the top, two pockets with fleece lining if your hands should ever get cold and two Hypalon docking stations for accessories and pliers offers you plenty of space to store your equipment. The wading belt is elastic, but strong enough that you can easily carry a wading pole or landing net without the belt buckling under the weight.
