The Molla series by the Japanese manufacturer Palms was once discontinued in 2017. Now this extremely popular rod series is back on the German market, even as a special G-Edition (Germany-Edition). The rod series enjoys huge popularity among zander and perch anglers and prides itself with high-quality materials, best craftmanship and a unique feel.
The blank is reinforced with X-Carbonology and is known for high sensitivity, long casting distances and enormous power reserves. The reinforcement of the blank is done by so-called X-wrapping, where additional carbon mats are laid in an X-pattern over the blank. This is not only visually very appealing, but also benefits the sensitivity and backbone of the rod and ensures that every contact is passed on. Only original Fuji SIC-S rings are used, where the S stands for "shallow". These are particularly thin and flattened ring inserts, so that the diameter of the ring can be increased without affecting the overall size of the ring. This reduces the weight of the rod and allows for even better casting characteristics.
The color combination of the rod is composed of gunsmoke, silver and black. The only color that stands out is the small red Palms logo at the end of the handle. The split-grip is made of pressure-resistant EVA and complements the simple and appealing design of the rod series. The simple appearance is a pure understatement for the great performance of this rod.

The Palms Molla G 65L+2MF is a light spinning rod and is characterized by a medium-fast taper. This makes the rod ideal for fishing with light hard- and crankbaits up to 10g. The rod can also handle small chatterbaits and spinjigs without any problems.
