The Westin W3 Hucho 2nd rod have evolved both in design and the technology used. Perfectly designed to fish for hard fighting fish like huchen or salmon, to control in the drill and finally to land safely.
The parabolic action of the Torayca Carbon Blank allows even heavy baits to fly far and ensures fewer dropouts in the dill, by cushioning the head strikes, escapes and jumps. The oversized LTS rings with titanium oxide inlay promote less tangles due to ice buildup when casting. The EVA grips are durable and provide a secure grip even in wet and cold conditions, plus they are easy to clean. In addition, the Hucho 2nd has been reinforced with 3K woven Kevlar, which makes the rod more resistant to falls and hits on rocks. With a length of 265 cm, it strikes just the right balance between sufficient length for long casts and good handling on the bank. Split in two, the rod has a transport length of 136 cm.
