The Sportex Huchen de Lux XT already reveals in its name where the journey is headed. The hucho (or European Taimen) has a long history in Europe, not least because it is our largest native salmonid and the fishing can be incredibly exciting and challenging. Casting weight, action and components are perfectly designed for hunting big hucho. For even more backbone to navigate even big fish out of the main current, the rod is equipped with a tight lower section. This is aided by Sportex's proven HT Cross-Winding technology, in which the carbon fibers run in opposite directions, providing even more structural integrity. It also improves the recovery of the blank, making the rod more precise. The tip action allows for a controlled lure action in the current and a penetrating strike into the very hard mouth of the hucho.

The rod is equipped with extra-large, sturdy Seaguide SIC guides, so that they do not ice up even on the coldest winter days. The comfortable cork handle also makes fishing in the main season (winter) much more pleasant. Due to the balance weight firmly installed in the hand part, the rods are noticeably balanced in the hand and makes the hour-long hunt for our native large salmonids even more pleasant.
