The Daiwa Wilderness Spinning rods are specially designed for salmonid fishing. It is ideal for stream, river, lake and the coasts of the North Sea and Baltic Sea. The rod has been tuned for target fish such as lake and sea trout, brown and rainbow trout, char as well as huchen, but is also excellent for targeted fishing for domestic predatory fish. The rod has a lightweight blank made of HMC+ carbon fibre, which is held together securely by a tenon joint. Only high-quality components were used for the equipment, such as a Fuji reel seat with modern ScrewNut design and lightweight XO rings from Seaguide. The TVS reel seat from Fuji fits comfortably in the hand and gives the rod an excellent balance as well as a slim and filigree look. The handle is made of high-quality cork and gives the rod a pleasant feel.

The Sea Trout rods in the Wilderness series include rods for both bank and boat fishing. With the rods in casting weights of 8-28 g, you are well equipped for fishing with light lures in shallow water. The two long rods with casting weights of up to 35 g and 45 g respectively are true long-casting machines and catapult even heavy inshore plugs and spoons against the wind. The soft tip also makes these rods ideal for use with braided lines. The backbone and the semi-parabolic action have been chosen so that fleeing or wildly jumping fish hardly have a chance to shake off the hook in the fight and head impacts are perfectly cushioned.
