Of course, Sportex has dedicated a few models of the Carat GT-S series solely to sea trout fishing. This type of fishing poses special challenges that place very specific technical demands on a rod. The lures should be cast far in any wind and weather and must then be able to control the lure precisely. During the fight, it is then necessary to perfectly intercept fast escapes and sudden jumps to prevent dropouts. The fast blank of the Seatrout version charges throughout its length and fires the spoons, wobblers, sbirolinos and Co. to incredible distances, while the sensitive tip section allows good lure control. This special action of the blank confidently cushions even hard escapes and prevents losing fish in the drill.
