This makes these fish eyes highly visible and also provides a striking point in the head region of the fly - potentially reducing tail bites. The eyes have a dumbbell shape and can therefore be easily, consistently symmetrically, and extremely stably tied in. For maximum durability, the thread wraps can be additionally secured with super glue or varnish. The included self-adhesive pupils are simply stuck onto the eyes as desired.
