This tapered nylon leader has a powerful yet gentle taper that can be used universally on trout waters. It enables an direct energy transfer from the fly line and unrolls well at all distances. This is not only due to the balanced taper with the strong butt section, but also to the high-quality transparent monofilament, which can be knotted excellently and produces little memory at low temperatures. The material has the perfect flex to buffer the dry fly take of a large brown trout on the surface and to allows tying on fine leader tips.

All Zpey leaders are supplied without pre-made loops. This gives you the freedom to decide how you want to connect the tapered leader to your fly line. For the perfect transition to the tippet we recommend a small tippet ring. Due to the diameter of 0.19 mm in the tip, you can use this leader for dry flies as well as for nymphs.
