The Zelda Black & Green has been designed by the Icelandic fishing guide Kjartan Antonsson and ever since has proven its efficiency time and time again. The long whiskers and the general design of the Zelda is based on the popular “Francis”, which is basically a shrimp pattern – and thus represents a well known prey item for salmon and sea trout. Due to the slick and slender body, the beaded head and the lack of a hackle the Zelda sinks quickly towards the fish. Consequently it fishes best in fast riffle sections or deep pools.
