The Special CDC and Elk Caddis combines two very popular wing materials. On the one hand finest CDC and on the other hand the hollow hairs of a wapiti deer. This combination makes the caddis fly look real and float high. Tied on a barbless hook with beige-green dubbing, the fly is not only extremely catchable, but also gentle on the fish. Soldarini's special pattern is a fly that has been tested throughout the year, proving exceptionally good catches. We recommend for additional floatation to work the body of the fly with a floating preparation.
