Hellefossen Spesial was originally tied by Guideline employee Børge Iversen to a shop by the river Drammenselva in Norway. They wanted a tubefly that looked like their best catching lure that has the colours copper and red. Later this pattern has proven to be very effective in rivers in Trøndelag, Finnmark and Kola. A top fly for all conditions throughout the season in colored water. This fly unlike the rest in the series has tungsten cone.
