Sondergaard Coastal Stripping Basket black & yellow

The Sondergaard ECOastal Stripping Basket is currently the lightest model on the market! Weighing only 190 g (including belt) and featuring an anatomical fit, it provides the highest level of comfort. This is also thanks to its elastic and adjustable waist belt, which is secured with Velcro and can be easily removed when needed. Especially during deep wading, the elastic belt has advantages, allowing the basket to move from the hip to the chest (and back) in seconds. Also very practical are the 12 holes in the bottom, which facilitate the rapid drainage of water from the basket. The front edge of the line basket is slightly raised, reducing the overall entry of water.

Made of thick, robust foam, this line basket provides strong buoyancy in the water, allowing the line basket to float like a cork. In contrast to comparable models, the components of this line basket are not simply glued but fused together, providing more stability and ultimately a longer lifespan. Apart from the high-quality craftsmanship, the line shoots out smoothly thanks to 14 elastic 'spikes' and is neatly arranged during stripping. A rod holder completes the package of useful features and becomes crucial, especially when hand landing a large fish (whether pike or sea trout).
