The Andrew Creek Dark V2 wet grip & studs is a top notch, fully handcrafted wading boot made in Italy (Montebelluna) – finally available in a nifty black design. Already back in 1981 the Italian boot-manufacturer Andrew was well known for his exceptionally indestructible mountain boots. In pursuit of creating the strongest wading boot on today’s market the company now presents the new Andrew Creek Boot.

The Creek boot has originally been developed for fly fishing in the alpine Italian Mountains where long arduous hikes in technically demanding terrain are daily fare. Therefore it is hardly surprising that the Creek Boot features designs elements of modern hiking boots. Equipped with a high cut, ankle reinforcement and rubber protectors in high wear areas this boot offers exceptional stability, support and longevity. Despite its strong built the Creek Boot is incredibly comfortable and a real treat to walk in – if you are looking for this kind of comfort look no further!

The most notable innovation of the CREEK DARK V2 compared to its predecessor is certainly the completely newly developed Wet Grip sole. It is specially designed for use in wet areas and water and is characterized by excellent slip resistance on wet, slippery and overgrown surfaces. In addition, the Wet Grip & Studs model has 12 spikes already screwed in for even better grip underwater.

• Wet Grip Sole
  A completely new rubber compound was developed for the Wet Grip sole, which has very elastic and extremely soft properties, which also has a very positive effect on walking comfort. However, the great advantage of this new material is its brilliant mechanical resistance at all temperatures. The resulting low wear on all surfaces ensures extreme durability of the wading shoe. Thanks to its controlled deformability and viscoelastic behavior, the sole adapts perfectly to any ground shape and increases the effective contact area. This is further enhanced by the slightly wider sole, allowing you to take advantage of the maximum contact and friction area with every step. This makes wading in difficult situations much easier and therefore safer!
