In cooperation with the tournament angler Herbert Ziereis the Swiss manufacturer Bullseye has created something special: The Bullseye Run & Gun series. The rod series perfectly covers modern predator fishing and is filled with Herbert Ziereis’ decades of experience and knowledge.
Bullseye has developed together with Herbert Ziereis probably one of the most versatile zander rods ever – the Sniper. Whether from the shore or boat, the rod is your faithful companion and allows you to cover all relevant techniques of zander fishing with just one rod. Like the entire rod series, the Sniper is also manufactured according to the highest standards typical for Bullseye. Only very high-quality Fuji K SS alconite guides and the thousandfold proven and popular Fuji VSS (16) reel seat are installed.
The particularly light and extremely fast 40T Toray blank transfers each bite directly into the hand and allows for a sensitive lure guidance and presentation. The full carbon tip (Solid Tip) gives the rod the special feel when guiding the lure and improves the bite detection immensely due to the poison green colored tip. In addition, the softer tip allows for completely different and more diverse lure presentation styles, because the combination of the extra-fast blank and the solid tip allow the rod to present a wide variety of lures in many different ways. This makes the rod suitable for both classic jigging softbaits, but also for a different variety of rigs such as carolina rig, texas rig or dropshot. This expands the uses of the rod immensely, from a classic zander rod with a fast blank to a universal weapon with a solid tip for a wide variety of applications.
The rod is perfect as a versatile companion when fishing for zander, whether from the boat or shore, whether on the river or lake. The fast blank combined with the solid tip allows for precise and sensitive lure guidance and bite detection, and the strong backbone safely carries even heavy fish to the surface.
