In cooperation with the tournament angler Herbert Ziereis the Swiss manufacturer Bullseye has created something special: The Bullseye Run & Gun series. The rod series perfectly covers modern predator fishing and is filled with Herbert Ziereis’ decades of experience and knowledge.
The lightest rod of the series is the Jiggy Jonga - a rod for finesse perch fishing that is almost second to none! Like the entire rod series, the Jiggy Jonga is also manufactured to the highest standards typical for Bullseye. High-quality Fuji K SS alconite guides and the popular Fuji VSS (16) reel seat, which has been tried and tested thousands of times, are used.
The particularly light and extremely fast 40T Toray Blank transfers every bite, no matter how subtle, directly into the hand and allows for a sensitive lure guidance and presentation. The full carbon tip (Solid Tip) gives the rod the special feel when presenting the lure and improves the bite detection immensely, partly due to the easily seen poison green finish of the tip. In addition, the softer tip allows completely different and more diverse presentation styles, because the combination of extra-fast blank and the solid tip allow the rod to present a wide variety of baits in many different ways. Whether texas or carolina rig, dropshot, softbaits on the jig, spin jigs or hardbaits, the rod allows a sensitive and accurate presentation, as well as lure guidance and facilitates the bite detection significantly.
The rod is ideal for light to medium heavy perch fishing and has a backbone, which is unique in this weight class. The Solid Tip tip allows for the use of a wide variety of lures and rigs, making it the ideal rod for finesse perch fishing.
