Whiting Introductory Soft Hackle Pack - 2 Half Capes/2 Half

The Whiting Introductory Soft Hackle Pack - 2 Half Capes/2 Half consists of 4 half hen capes. The Soft Hackle feathers of a hen have the advantage that the feathers are extremely soft and flexible and therefore develop a more active game under water than feathers from a rooster. This makes soft hen feathers ideal for fly patterns such as wet flies and nymphs, but above all for streamers of all kinds. The soft hen feathers are used as a popular head hackle for the well-known Magnus fly on the coast, but also as a body winder for various patterns such as Wooly Bugger or Bristle Worm. The feather is also often used as the end of the fly when tying tubes to give the tube fly a clean head area. The same applies to various nymphs and wet flies, which are given a lively play in the current by using a fine soft hackle. As you would expect from Whiting, the quality of the half capes is excellent and of a high standard, so that every feather of the 4 half capes can be used. This makes this pack an incredible value for money winner for us - top quality at a fair price!
