Whiting Brahma Hen SH/C

The popular Brahma Hen Saddle Patches from Whiting Farms are an excellent substitute for Hungarian partridges and offer an abundance of beautifully speckled feathers. The extremely fine feathers with their soft, sturdy stems are excellent for tying all wet flies, nymphs, and small streamers. The stem wraps perfectly around the thin hook without breaking. If desired, the feathers can be soaked beforehand, although this is not necessary for Brahma feathers! In addition to the fine feathers often used for the fly's collar, there are also some super soft, fluffy feathers on the patch. The so-called Chickabou, also known as mini-marabou feathers, are fantastic for small trout streamers or for modern jig streamers used with Euro-Nymph rods.

This versatile Brahma Hen Saddle Patch from Whiting Farms impresses with outstanding quality fine Brahma feathers, making it a perfect substitute for partridge feathers.

Details:

  • Large patch of Brahma feathers at a fair price
  • Extremely soft quills, perfect for tying small flies
  • For wet flies, nymphs and streamers
  • Tied as collars or legs, they play perfectly underwater
  • Chickabou feathers for streamers available on every patch
