Scientific Anglers Sonar Titan Big Water Taper Fly Line Intermediate

A line for monster fish! The Big Water lines are the first ever with a 100 lbs core! No matter what monsters you're chasing in the tropics, there's currently no stronger fly line available. The short, powerful head helps effortlessly cast large streamers towards the horizon. The intermediate construction allows the fly to run just below the water surface even in choppy conditions or fast stripping. Not only tarpon, giant trevallies (GTs), and marlins should beware, because no matter what's pulling at the other end, with this line, you can go full throttle during the fight. ;-)

Surface Structure:
The intermediate head comes with a slightly smooth surface for easy casting and lifting, as well as a more homogeneous sinking behavior. The running line is equipped with a fine, golf ball-like surface, which significantly improves shooting (less contact area = less friction). Additionally, the shooting texture isn't as noisy as the previous sharkskin surface, which was controversial due to its loud noise. This surface also offers better grip during stripping and setting the hook. Especially in hot, tropical climates, when fingers are slippery due to sweat and sunscreen, this can be a great help during the strip-set.
