A traditional and really famous pattern that was basically designed for first hatches in march / april, but turned out to be a true all-round fly. The March Brown sits perfectly on top of the surface and can be fished even in stronger currents – for longest drift just add some floatant.

This fly shouldn't be missed by any fly box. ;-)
