The Hanak Wave Pike is a versatile fly rod that is ideal for beginners and impresses with its balanced medium-fast action. It harmonises perfectly with a variety of different fly lines, which makes it particularly flexible in use. Its timeless, elegant design is stylishly complemented by a high-quality black aluminium reel seat with a modern look. The comfortable full-well cork handle ensures pleasant handling when fishing. The rod has a four-piece construction and is supplied in a practical fabric case - perfect for safe transport and storage.

The Wave II 990 is the most powerful model in the Wave series and has been specially developed for pike fishing. With its AFTMA class #9 and a length of 9ft, it offers the ideal streamer rod. The medium fast action also pays off when fishing for pike, usually with slightly larger flies. The rod loves slightly slower casts and works from the whole blank to fire the wet, large streamer.
