These special rods are the result of years of experience in international championships on rivers and lakes, but also offer many advantages for everyday fishing. They are characterised by enormous lightness and stability and have a very good price-performance ratio.
The Hydropsyche Tournament Euronymph is specially designed for precise nymph fishing. With its sensitive action, it makes it possible to recognise the smallest of grips and control the nymphs at distance. At the same time, the progressive blank in the lower section provides enough backbone to safely land even strong fighting fish. The rod is therefore ideal for ultra-fine Euro nymphing as well as for all classic nymphing techniques.
The blank is based on highly modulated Japanese carbon fibre, in which 45 degree carbon layers are specifically integrated. These diagonal fibres make the blank particularly torsionally stiff and resistant to twisting, which is crucial for precise presentations and maximum control. Resin-optimised prepreg layers and the latest Nano Resin technology reduce the weight, increase the recovery speed and ensure fast, responsive blank behaviour. Titanium insert guides minimise the mass in the tip area, while double sea stripping guides guide the line cleanly, reduce friction and ensure direct feedback to the fine movements of the nymphs. The unpolished blank finish preserves the full fibre structure and guarantees maximum stability and durability.
