As soon as you pick it up, you immediately realise how balanced and well thought-out this rod is. The Soldarini Hydropsyche Full Contact Euronymph XUL fly rod has been uncompromisingly developed for modern Euronymph techniques and impresses with its sensitivity, lightness and innovative overall concept.
The ultra-slim, unpolished blank with a moderate action is manufactured using new graph-carbon resins. This ensures high resistance, low weight and impressive sensitivity, ideal for the finest bite detection and maximum control with ultra-light nymphs. The moderate action supports a clean drift, precise presentation and safe drilling of even large fish.
A special highlight is the double tip supplied: in addition to a classic tip, the rod has a second XUL "Put-In" solid tip. This solid solid tip enables effortless casting of even microscopically small nymphs and reliably protects ultra-thin tippets from overloading, a clear advantage in fine competition fishing.
The Hydropsyche has a modern and technically sophisticated look. The carbon handle ensures a contemporary look, extremely low weight and a pleasant feel. The skeleton reel seat made of 6061 aluminium with carbon insert is designed in a down-lock version to further optimise the balance, especially with longer rods. The setup is complemented by an exclusive carbon fighting butt.
Practical for competitions and training: fish size markings at 20 cm, 30 cm and 40 cm are printed on the blank so that the size of a fish can be estimated directly.
Available in 10 ft (all-round length), 10'6" for technically demanding applications and 11'2" for large rivers and difficult conditions. The 10 ft version is particularly impressive due to its super-light, sensitive and dynamic handling.
