It determines not only the casting behaviour and distance, but above all the correct speed of the drift, the depth of the fly and ultimately the success of the fishing.
The Salar Convert Tips are interchangeable tips perfectly matched to the Convert Shooting Heads and form the centrepiece of a flexible multi-tip system. By quickly changing the tips, the presentation of the fly can be optimally adapted to different water levels, currents and depths - without having to change the entire setup.
The 18 ft. long tips offer maximum range, depth control and drift stability within the Convert system. They are the first choice for large rivers, extreme conditions and situations where the fly needs to be brought to great depths quickly and in a controlled manner. The extra length results in a particularly smooth, even drift and very direct contact with the fly - even at great distances.
The Convert Tips are available in various sink rates - from float to sink 5/6 - and therefore cover a wide range of possible applications.
