The SALAR CATCH Series by Frödin was developed by experienced fly fishermen – with a clear goal: maximum control and optimal presentation under all conditions. All CATCH Single-Piece Shooting Heads are powerful, compact, and clearly Scandinavian in their taper design, with a strong focus on the rear part of the belly to support energy-efficient underhand and Spey casts. The durable, low-friction multi-density coating covers a strong braided core, providing impressive strength and reduced stretch. The result: effortless casting, natural presentation, and precise drifting or control of your fly.
The Salar Catch fly lines offer ultimate control over depth and presentation – thanks to innovative multi-density construction, allowing precise adaptation to any fish and water situation. Their optimized diameter-to-density ratio ensures maximum sinking efficiency without compromising casting performance. A smooth, gradual sinking transition keeps the fly longer in the strike zone and significantly increases catch chances.
A thoughtful color system enables fast and intuitive line selection – ideal for anglers who don't want to waste time at the water. The slick coating, durable loops, and highly visible markings ensure smooth handling at the water.
With a total of nine different sink rates, the CATCH shooting heads cover all conditions, from small streams to large salmon rivers. The series is available in classes #6/7 and #7/8 for single-handed rods as well as #6/7 to #11/12 for double-handed rods.
