The Salar Convert Tips are interchangeable tips perfectly matched to the Convert Shooting Heads and form the centrepiece of a flexible multi-tip system. By quickly changing the tips, the presentation of the fly can be optimally adapted to different water levels, currents and depths - without having to change the entire setup.
The 16 ft. long tips offer maximum depth action and control - especially in large river systems and in very demanding conditions. They are perfect for deep pools, strong currents and situations where the fly needs to be brought quickly and stably into deeper water. Despite their length, they enable a smooth, controlled turnover and clean energy transfer.
The extra length creates a particularly even drift and direct contact with the fly - ideal for precise fishing in large waters. The Convert Tips are available in different sink rates - from floating to fast sinking - and therefore offer maximum flexibility for every situation on the water.
