The Abel ROVE # 11/12 Solid Atlantic Salmon is the reel for your heavy two-handed rod. If salmon is your number one target fish, then this reel should not be missing from your rod!
Each Abel® product in this highly limited edition is a unique design that is individually anodised by hand in the anodising shop in Camarillo, California, using the company's proprietary artistic metallurgical process. The designs take between 2 and 14 hours for a single employee to complete. With this fly reel, you not only get one of the highest quality reels ever, but also a truly unique piece that is unrivalled.
The ROVE series was developed to offer anglers all over the world maximum safety and reliability when fishing - regardless of conditions or location. The proven, field-ready Abel cork drag system combined with the clearly structured design of our engineers makes this reel a model that even guides in the Seychelles trust and which promises you the upper hand in the fight for salmon.
The reel has a partially milled frame for an optimum balance of noise and visual impact, a protected frame on the backing (solid) and a closed cage that prevents the line from being trapped between the frame and spool, as well as a large line capacity for one or two-handed rods. The well thought-out, stable design withstands the demands of travelling anglers.
