In modern nymph fishing with a high rod and short line, so-called Euro nymphing (e.g. Czech, French nymphing), a conventional line construction, as with club lines or double tappers, is not particularly useful. On the contrary, the thinner the line, the better the nymph can be guided in a free drift and even the finest bites are passed on to the angler more quickly due to the lower line mass.
The Tactical Nymph Fly Line from Soldarini has a slim diameter of just 0.55 mm. This makes this level line perfect for all modern nymphing techniques - whether at home or at international fly fishing championships. The taper is parallel throughout, i.e. the diameter remains constant over the entire line length of 90ft. (approx. 27 metres).
Although this line has been optimised for fine nymph fishing, you can also use it for very delicate dry fly presentations at short distances. Provided you fish with a fine rod! The discreet presentation is further enhanced by the subtle colour of the Nano Slick Coating. And if the front part of the line should wear out, you can simply turn it round. Another advantage of a level line!
