The Wapsi Ewing Middle Part Premium Quality offers a targeted selection of high-quality hackle feathers from the middle section of the bellows. This section mainly covers hook sizes in the range from around 12 to 14 and is therefore ideal for a variety of classic dry fly patterns.
The feathers are characterised by a balanced structure with stable, yet sufficiently fine fibres. As a result, they can be processed precisely and ensure a clean hackle with good buoyancy and a natural silhouette on the water.
As part of the Ewing range, it is an economical selection of a specific area of the cap, allowing fly tiers to get the sizes they need without having to use a complete hide. This makes the Middle Part segments particularly attractive for targeted use in the frequently used size range.
