The Wapsi Ewing Middle Part Grizzly Premium Quality offers a targeted selection of high-quality hackle feathers from the middle part of the bellows in the classic grizzly look. This area mainly covers hook sizes in the range of around 12 to 14 and is therefore ideal for a variety of traditional dry fly patterns.
The feathers are characterised by a balanced structure of stable yet delicate fibres that enable precise processing. They ensure clean proportions, good buoyancy and a natural appearance of the flies in the water.
As part of the Ewing series, it is an economical selection of a specific area of the cape, allowing fly tiers to get the specific middle sizes they need without having to use a complete cape. This makes the Middle Part segments particularly versatile.
