The Twisted Worm is a specially developed fly pattern that was perfected after a lengthy development phase.
Originally designed several years ago, the pattern was initially forgotten - until it was rediscovered, successfully tested and then specifically optimised. This fly was designed as a Euro-style worm imitation. It is deliberately smaller than conventional worm imitations, but sinks particularly quickly and efficiently. Thanks to the Spanflex material used, the Twisted Worm is significantly more robust and durable than many comparable patterns. A special detail is the UV resin application on the underside: it fills the recess of the tungsten bead, causing the fly to sink faster and protecting the main contact point at the same time. This ensures that the colour of the bead remains permanently intact even after frequent contact with stones and ground.
