At the same time, this pattern is ideal for dead drift fishing under the bite indicator, for example from a boat or bank. In practice, however, the Cousin Sculpin has proven itself far beyond this and has become a favourite, realistic sculpin pattern for many situations. The streamer tied on jig hooks can be presented very close to the bottom, runs with the hook point upwards and significantly reduces hang-ups.
