The Guideline GFA Hopper is a realistic grasshopper pattern and just the thing for warm days when terrestrial insects regularly come to the surface of the water. When trout, grayling, chub and the like are actively searching for food on the surface, this hopper is one of the patterns that work exceptionally well, especially during the summer.

The body is made of foam and deer hair, which provide excellent buoyancy. As a result, the fly remains stable on the surface even in faster currents. The movable legs create additional attraction, even with little current, and attract the attention of wary trout and grayling.
