Product information "Frödin Salar Convert Singlehand Short Spey Shooting Head Floating Kit with 3 Tips"

The SALAR series from Frödin was developed by experienced fly fishermen - with one clear goal: maximum control and optimum presentation in all conditions. Because the line is the heart of every setup - whether for single-handed or two-handed fishing. It not only determines the casting behaviour and distance, but above all the correct speed of the drift, the depth of the fly and ultimately the success of the fishing.

The Frödin Salar Convert Singlehand Short Spey Shooting Head Floating Kit combines a floating convert shooting head with three different convert tips in a well thought-out set. Thanks to the varying sink rates of the tips, the setup can be optimally adapted to the respective conditions on the water - for a precise and versatile presentation. The classic sink rates are an indispensable part of modern, flexible fishing. For this reason, Frödin has put together this practice-orientated kit that leaves nothing to be desired.

The Salar Convert Short Spey Singlehand Shooting Heads are compact multi-tip shooting heads with a Scandinavian-inspired taper design, specially developed for efficient underhand casting in the singlehand range as well as modern Skagit and Scandi-style casts. They impress with a powerful but controlled taper, clean turnover and precise presentation - even under demanding conditions. Thanks to the balanced profile, light floating tips can be guided with ease. The heads create stable loops and enable precise casts at medium distances, while at the same time ensuring natural drift control

The Salar Convert Tips are interchangeable tips perfectly matched to the Convert Shooting Heads and form the centrepiece of a flexible multi-tip system. By quickly changing the tips, the presentation of the fly can be optimally adapted to different water levels, currents and depths - without having to change the entire setup. The 10 ft. Variant with 4 g was specially developed for use on single-handed and light switch rods. It enables a particularly fine and controlled presentation and is ideal for small to medium waters as well as for situations where precise casts and sensitive guidance are required.

Due to the lower weight, the rod loads up harmoniously and ensures a clean turnover even with lighter flies. At the same time, the different sink rates offer enough flexibility to quickly adapt to changing conditions - from surface presentation to moderate depths.
