The body consists of stacked and spun deer hair, combined with Laser Dub. While the deer hair provides buoyancy, the laser dub absorbs water and pulls the fly downwards - it is precisely this interaction that makes the Thrasher swim irregularly and break out. Due to its floating action, the fly can be fished very well over structures, but can also sink into deeper pools. A versatile pattern for almost every type of water that can be presented flexibly and appeals to a wide variety of predators.
