The new Scientific Anglers Seatrout Volantis Integrated Full Intermediate Dark Grass fly line is a full intermediate version of the popular Volantis. The Full Intermediate offers you the opportunity to fish the entire length under the wave and get the best feedback in terms of bites. Attention has also been paid to the sinking behaviour of the line so that it does not sink in too deeply. At just 1.25 ips (3.2 cm/second), the line sinks perfectly but not too quickly at most sea trout spots!
The new version from the Volantis series is also the full line version of the extremely popular Volantis shooting head. Its integrated floating running line offers you all the advantages of two worlds: the fast loading and assertive casting characteristics of a compact shooting head paired with the advantages of a classic full line. It therefore impresses with its outstanding handling thanks to the smooth transition between the club and running line (floating). Its assertive 10.1 metre Head Length cuts through the wind with ease and enables fast loading without unnecessary empty casts. Of course, its special coating remains soft and supple even in very cold conditions, so it will delight you even when searching for a massive skipjack in winter. In addition, its rear taper has a contrasting colour, which provides good visual feedback in the cast and in the water. The assertive orange colour is easily visible even in the low light of the early morning and late evening hours. Last but not least, the braided multifilament core provides direct contact with the fly, so you will feel even the finest touches from timid sea trout.
