The Scientific Anglers Magnitude Smooth Balance Clear Floating has been specially developed for use in saltwater and tropical climates. Its extra robust coating and optimised core ensure excellent casting and shooting characteristics even in very hot conditions. The clear floating head area enables an inconspicuous presentation, even with cautious fishing or heavily fished flats. The balance taper offers maximum stability, precise power transmission and excellent control at long distances, while the harmonious head length allows the line to be effortlessly manoeuvred in the drift.
Manufactured with the new DuraCoat technology, these fly lines feature an advanced dual-polymer design that optimally combines line stiffness, abrasion resistance and glide. The supple core reduces memory effects and ensures outstanding strength, while the robust outer coating perfects durability and gliding properties. Clear Floating Technology (CFT) utilises natural buoyancy polymers in the coating to guarantee stable buoyancy despite transparent materials.
In addition to DuraCoat, the sustainable EST+ Slickness Additive further improves gliding properties. This additive offers additional protection, reduces dirt adhesion and ensures quiet, effortless shooting behaviour, even during intensive use.
Shooting Texture: Thanks to the fine textured surface, friction in the rings is significantly reduced, while the contact surface is slightly increased. As a result, the line shoots further, floats higher and is easier to cast overall.
