The Scientific Anglers Magnitude Balance 15' Clear Tip is specifically designed for saltwater fishing and tropical climates. Its tropicalised coating and stiffer core ensure optimum casting and shooting characteristics even in hot conditions. The 4.57 metre long clear and floating tip section enables an inconspicuous presentation, even with shy fish or heavily fished flats. The well-balanced taper offers excellent stability, energy transfer and control at long distances. The harmonious head length also allows the line to be effortlessly manoeuvred in the drift to precisely adjust your presentation at any time.
Manufactured with the new DuraCoat technology, these fly lines feature an advanced dual polymer design that perfectly balances line stiffness, abrasion resistance and glide. The supple core reduces memory effects and provides outstanding strength, while the robust outer coating optimises durability and glide properties. The CFT Clear Floating Technology utilises natural buoyancy polymers in the coating to guarantee exceptionally stable buoyancy despite the transparent material.
In addition to DuraCoat, the gliding properties are further improved by the sustainably produced EST+ Slickness Additive. This additive not only provides additional protection and less dirt adhesion, but also gives Magnitude fly lines unrivalled durability and effortless shooting behaviour, even with intensive use.
Shooting Texture: Thanks to the fine textured surface, friction in the rings is significantly reduced, while the contact surface is slightly increased. The result: the line shoots further, floats higher and is easier to cast overall. Compared to the old Sharkskin lines, however, the new texture is significantly quieter and more pleasant to handle. In addition, the durability of the running line is noticeably improved.
