The Royal Wulff Triangle Taper Cold Salt Seatrout & Predator Mono Clear Intermediate has been specially developed for situations where maximum inconspicuousness is crucial. Based on Lee Wulff's legendary triangle taper design, this line combines the proven casting properties of the series with a completely clear intermediate coating. It is therefore aimed specifically at anglers who are dealing with shy and heavily fished fish in cold saltwater.
The continuously tapered triangle taper with long front taper ensures very even energy transfer and clean loops. Overhead casts are stable and efficient, while roll and switch casts achieve impressive ranges even with little backspace thanks to the weight being shifted to the rear - ideal for coastal sections, estuaries or windy conditions.
As a slow sinking Mono Clear Intermediate, this line disappears almost invisibly below the water surface and keeps the fly constantly in the upper third of the water. This makes it the first choice for shy sea trout and cautious predators that react sensitively to spooking. Streamers and coastal patterns can be controlled without the line disturbing the natural appearance of the presentation.
