The Rio Elite Scandi Float is a 6.1 m - 9.4 m short shooting head with a unique weight distribution to load switch and two-handed rods long and deep for maximum casting distances. The cleverly designed taper of the head transfers the power seamlessly into the leader and to the fly, enabling incredibly tight, powerful loops that retain full power until the fly is stretched. The extended front taper, which guarantees a smooth turn-over, also helps here. Thanks to the low-stretch core of the line, you get incredible sensitivity in the cast but also with even the slightest contact with the fly and can therefore achieve optimum hooking characteristics.
