The Colours of the Wild models are highly limited and available in the sizes: Dryfly, Rapid, Runner, Speedrunner and Strike.
The Loop Opti Speedrunner is the fastest reel in the entire Opti series - designed with the clear aim of maximising the spool diameter and thus achieving the absolute highest retrieve speeds. If you hunt pike, permit, baby tarpon or salmon with light two-handed rods, the Speedrunner is the perfect companion.
With its large outer diameter of 131 mm and an inner diameter of 86 mm, it allows extremely fast line retrieval and offers maximum control in every situation. The spool width of 25 mm combines generous capacity (WF8 + 190 m / 30 lbs) with compact, balanced handling. Despite its power, the Speedrunner weighs just 258 g and is therefore surprisingly light in the hand.
Like all Opti models, the Speedrunner is also equipped with the fully encapsulated Power Matrix Drag System: a butter-soft, smooth-running carbon fibre drag system with enormous power reserves that is 100% waterproof and saltwater-proof. In combination with the robust housing and precise workmanship, it offers absolute reliability - whether in fresh or salt water.
The closed reel cage ensures maximum stability, prevents the leader from slipping out and protects the fly line from jamming. There are also well thought-out details such as a large-arbor spool with V-profile, Loctite-secured screws, seawater-resistant stainless steel and aluminium components and the simple switch from left-handed to right-handed operation.
