The Hardy Averon fly reel combines the highest quality and reliability in a stylish, modern design. Depending on the size, the design varies between open and closed frame to optimally fulfil different fly fishing requirements.
In the 9000 class, the Averon has a closed frame for more stability and especially for fishing with thin monofilament running lines. The other sizes, on the other hand, have an open frame, which saves weight and keeps the set-up as light as possible for fine fishing on the stream or on the coast. A silky smooth, closed multi-pad disc drag system ensures reliable control. The precise braking system can be adjusted quickly and accurately in two and a half turns and is operated via a particularly easy-to-grip brake knob. The Averon also impresses with its ultra-low starting inertia and smooth line drag - whether you're fishing for trout or permit.
Thanks to the cassette function, the Averon allows you to quickly switch between two different lines, as two of the interchangeable spools are included, as is the generously sized neoprene case for storing the reel and spools.
