And for good reason – members of Team Hanák are regularly on the podium at various fly fishing competitions.
With the Superb XP, HANÁK presents an entirely new series of four-piece, ultra-light fly rods that impress with sensitivity, lightness, and surprising power. These rods were developed using the latest technologies and the highest-quality materials – with a clear goal: to create the best competition fly rods in the world. Precision, finesse, and uncompromising performance under the toughest conditions were the top priorities during development – and you can feel that in every detail, from the components to the action and tuning of the rod classes and lengths.
The development was carried out in close collaboration with the best fly fishers and international competition anglers, including members of Team HANÁK Competition SUPERB STARS and the Czech National Fly Fishing Team. Each rod was individually designed and rigorously tested by specialists for each fly fishing discipline.
The blank is made using cutting-edge HI-CARBON technology combined with high-quality NANO filaments. Thanks to the use of ultra-light premium components, the total weight of the rods could be reduced by about 30% (up to 30 g) compared to conventional models.
Premium features include ultra-fine FUJI SIC stripping guides as well as particularly durable and flexible RECOIL Titanflex snake guides – made in the USA. The exclusive reel seat with a fine wood insert and the AAAA-grade cork handle give the rod an elegant look and ensure a perfect grip.
The elegant, matte olive finish of the blank prevents disruptive light reflections and thus avoids spooking shy fish on bright days. Each rod comes in a luxurious pentagon-shaped transport tube with separate compartments for each rod section.
