Product information "Guideline Elevation single-handed fly rod"
First things first: the unique Guideline Elevation series sets new standards in terms of environmentally conscious production methods. This is the "green" flagship of the Scandinavian cult brand, which has developed a truly exemplary manufacturing process in favour of the environment. In line with a very environmentally conscious principle, this innovative production process leaves the smallest possible "ecological footprint". In the interests of sustainability, the production of these rods is therefore almost entirely free of questionable materials and substances. However, it's not just their environmental footprint, but also their impressive performance that impresses us across the board!
Its matt, almost unpolished blank gives the Elevation single-handed fly rod a relatively fast action with a high recovery speed. It therefore offers you assertive casting characteristics for a truly versatile performance. It also combines impressive lightness, excellent stability and very high-quality components. In short, no compromises were made in terms of performance and durability during its environmentally conscious production, making it a reliable, long-lasting companion - in the spirit of sustainability. All models in the Elevation series are perfectly designed for the respective area of application - from sensitive fishing for salmonids to winter pike hunting with large flies.
There is no doubt that Guideline is setting completely new standards in terms of environmental awareness with this rod series - and at a very attractive price. This makes the truly innovative Elevation single-handed fly rod the perfect choice for environmentally conscious fly fishermen who also attach great importance to excellent performance!

This product was presented by the fly fishing forum in the section "Device in practice test". The conclusion:
"Both Elevation fly rods in the test accurately match (as is usual with Guideline) the applicable line class and weight specifications noted on them (very helpful!) and harmonise with the corresponding solid lines and shooting heads. The Elevation test rods have a relatively fast action with a high reset speed. They are extremely comfortable and powerful to cast over all distances, offering a good feel from just a few metres of line, comfortably handling the entire mid-range, but also "thundering" out the entire line cleanly in "expert hands" without weakening! Depending on the call, the rod blank works completely (deep loading) down to the handle section. In the casting test, both rods offered a surprisingly good casting performance, paired with great lightness, lots of power, optimum feel in all areas and a quick resilience - as you would only expect from much higher-priced fly rods.
