With the Winter Supple , Airflo presents the Ridge 2.0 Universal Taper Float as a winter edition!

The ultra-supple technology has been specially developed for fly fishing in winter. Designed for temperatures below 10 °C, these lines remain exceptionally supple and virtually free of memory effects - even when the thermometer suggests that the fishing day is over.

A modern floating line with a versatile medium-length haunch of approx. 11 metres for the cold season. An ideal floating line with which you can master the vast majority of situations on streams and rivers. The universal design of the club with the compact front taper makes it easier to load the rod effectively and helps you to get your fly to the target quickly.

The front taper measures only 8 ft., which means that even large flies can be reeled in with ease. Nymphs with large bite indicators such as the Oros Indicator can also be transported easily and fished effectively. At the same time, the line can be gently released at all distances, making it suitable for a variety of different types of water - from small streams to large rivers. And thanks to its versatile casting properties, it not only allows overhead casts, but also roll and spey casts. This enables a successful presentation even in situations without a backwater. It also has a so-called haul zone with a length of approx. 3.6 metres. This grippy area between the running line and the haul enables improved line control during the cast and while fishing. It also ensures direct power transmission and a stable flight position. In combination with the very supple coating and a thin running line, this produces outstanding shooting characteristics for an impressive casting distance. And thanks to its new structured and innovative coating, it is even more durable than its predecessor and conventional PVC lines. The Ridge 2.0 Superflo also shoots even more quietly and smoothly through the rings, as less friction is generated.

In short: With the Universal Taper fly line, you can serve your fly with pinpoint accuracy at all distances - whether close or far. This makes it a first-class choice for demanding trout and grayling fishing.
